Something is stirring in Nashville
Across traditions and generations, pastors, worship leaders and ordinary believers are sensing the same invitation: to gather the Church of Nashville in unified, continuous prayer — and to keep watch until something breaks. Nashville Prayer Room exists to answer that call.
Jesus at the Center
Our core conviction is simple: when Jesus is truly at the center of a city, everything changes. Not as a slogan — as a lived reality, sustained hour by hour, by a community of people who believe intercession is not a supplement to the work of the church. It is the work.
We are building a 24/7 house of prayer on Music Row — a sacred, always-open space where worshippers, intercessors, and watchmen from across Nashville's churches keep the fire burning through the night and into the morning, week after week, year after year.
This Ground Has a Story
The prayer room will be established on the 2nd and 3rd floors of the historic Koinonia building on Music Row — the same site where Koinonia Bookstore and Coffeehouse helped ignite Nashville's expression of the Jesus Movement in the early 1970s, and where Don Finto's "Revolution at 16th and Grand" became a wellspring of Spirit-led worship that reached the nations.
For over a century, this ground has hosted tent revivals, Spirit-movements, missionaries and artists. We believe God is calling His people back to this place — not for nostalgia, but for what's next.
1801 — Cane Ridge Revival, one of the most powerful outpourings in American history
1911 — Tent revival marks the beginning of Belmont Church's story on this site
1970s — Koinonia becomes an epicenter of the Jesus Movement
Today — A spiritual gate to the city, being prepared for the next great movement of unified prayer
Philippians 4:6-7
