Something is stirring in Nashville
Across traditions and generations, pastors, worship leaders, and believers are sensing the same invitation: to gather the greater Nashville Church in unified, continuous prayer and to keep watch until something breaks.
The Vision: The Nashville Church united in prayer and worship with Jesus at the center
The 24/7 Prayer Room Project exists to gather the Nashville Church around the presence of Jesus in continuous prayer, worship, and fasting. Our core conviction is simple yet profound: when Jesus is truly at the center, everything changes.
We are building a 24/7 house of prayer on Music Row. A sacred, always-open space where worshippers, intercessors, and watchmen from across Nashville's churches keep the fire burning through the night and into the morning, week after week, year after year: praying for transformation of hearts, homes, neighborhoods, cities, and nations.
Statement of Faith and Core Belief
The Nashville Prayer Room exists to advance the Christian faith through unceasing prayer and worship. A sacred space where the wider Nashville Church gathers across traditions, united not by uniformity but by devotion. Grounded in our Statement of Faith, we seek the God who overcomes death, heals the sick, comforts the broken-hearted, and throws open the door for every wandering heart that returns, believing that a people who pray together become a conduit for His blessing to Nashville and beyond
We believe prayer is the engine of spiritual change, and unified prayer can shift the spiritual atmosphere of an entire region
All participating churches affirm the Statement of Faith as our common statement of faith, ensuring theological unity while celebrating our diverse expressions of worship.

Holy Ground: Belmont / Music Row Location
The prayer room will be established on the 2nd and 3rd floors of the historic Koinonia building on Music Row. This is the same site where Koinonia Bookstore and Coffeehouse helped ignite Nashville's expression of the Jesus Movement in the early 1970s, and where Don Finto's "Revolution at 16th and Grand" became a wellspring of Spirit-led worship that reached the nations.
For over a century, this ground has hosted tent revivals, Spirit-movements, missionaries, and artists. We believe God is calling His people back to this place — not for nostalgia, but for what's next.
1911 — Tent revival marks the beginning of Belmont Church's story on this site, prior to present-day Music Row becoming Music Row.
1970s (Early) — Koinonia Bookstore & Coffee House became epicenters of the Jesus Movement in the South.
1970's (Mid) — "Revolution at 16th and Grand" led by Don Finto establishes this as a ground where the Spirit moves boldly.
Today — A spiritual gate to the city, being prepared for the next great movement of unified prayer.
The Biblical Call to Pray for the City
"Prayer is not preparation for the work. Prayer is the work."
Our prayers are not just words; they are powerful tools for transformation. We strive to engage in intercession that impacts lives, neighborhoods, and the broader city of Nashville, believing that God hears us and responds.
Jeremiah 29:7
Commands us to "Seek the peace and prosperity of the city… pray to the Lord for it." This is not optional; it is our sacred assignment.
Luke 10:2-9
Shows Jesus sending disciples into towns and homes to pray for peace and healing, demonstrating that prayer shifts the spiritual atmosphere of neighborhoods.

Physical Space Development
We are in the process of raising funds and building the 24/7 prayer and worship space on the historic 2nd and 3rd floors of the Koinonia building, creating a sacred environment designed for continuous intercession and worship.
Prayer & Worship Initiatives
We are working to unify the Nashville Church around rhythms of worship, intercession, Scripture meditation, and fasting that lays the foundation for a city-wide sustainable 24/7 prayer and worship movement that is driven by the Church of Nashville and not a single entity/or person.
Organizational & Leadership Structure
Create a cross-denominational nonprofit to steward the vision with trust, transparency, and long-term sustainability, ensuring faithful governance for generations.
